Sprawling, white-on-white resort north of the hotel zone where the beach actually breathes — fewer vendors, fewer spring breakers, more quiet sand than you'd expect this close to Cancún. Everything runs on that all-inclusive engine, so the food ranges from surprisingly decent to forgettable depending on which restaurant you wander into. Rooms are big, beds are good, and the pools are designed for people who want to hold a drink and do absolutely nothing. Go for the swim-up suites if the budget allows — they justify the rate.
