You wake up and the lake is right there — massive, steel-blue, filling the window like it owns the room. The Navy Pier location sounds like a liability, and sure, you'll dodge tourist foot traffic on the way in. But once you're upstairs, the views do real work. Rooms are polished without being sterile, and the rooftop bar earns its keep on a warm evening. Book a lake-facing room or don't bother — the city-side views aren't worth the rate.
