Loud, warm, elbow-to-elbow — the communal seating here isn't a gimmick, it's the whole point. Mediterranean small plates land fast and hit hard, heavy on char and fat and salt in the best way. The wine list is sharp without being pretentious, and the room runs hot enough that you'll peel off a layer by the second course. Not cheap, but portions justify the damage. Go with a group, order too much, and fight over the last bite of whatever's stuffed with dates.
