The Westmount outpost of Montreal's beloved Mile-End espresso institution, transplanted to a quieter, more manicured stretch of Victoria Ave. Same thick, no-nonsense Italian-style coffee — the kind that coats the back of your throat and actually tastes like something. The terrace is small but earns its keep on a warm evening. Not a food destination; don't come looking for avocado toast. Just a proper espresso, pulled right, taken standing or on the patio with nowhere else to be.
