Polished to within an inch of its life, planted right on the slope of Rue de la Montagne where downtown meets the Golden Square Mile. Lobby smells like money and white flowers. Rooms are quiet — almost unnervingly so — with that particular brand of minimalism where everything costs more because there's less of it. The spa and indoor pool actually deliver, not just amenity-list filler. Book a lower floor if street noise doesn't bother you; the mountain views improve but so does the rate.
