Big, solid, no-surprises Sheraton planted right on René-Lévesque. The lobby has that corporate hush, but the indoor pool and sauna on upper floors are genuinely good for decompressing after a day of walking the city in winter. Rooms are clean, quiet, perfectly forgettable in the way you actually want a hotel room to be. Not cheap, but not bleeding you either for downtown. Book a higher floor — the south-facing views earn their keep.
