About Arthur's Nosh Bar

The smell of smoked meat and rendered fat hits you before you even clear the door, mixing with the sharp tang of pickles and fresh-baked everything. This is a Jewish deli that doesn't apologize for itself — plates of shakshuka arrive still bubbling and angry, latkes come shattered crisp with edges that could cut glass, and the smoked meat is piled with a generosity that borders on structural engineering. The space is bright, tiled, and loud in the way a good deli should be, where conversation bounces off every hard surface and nobody whispers. Bagels here carry real weight, dense and chewy, the kind that fight back when you bite into them. The menu is tight and plays no games — they know what they do well and they do it without flinching. Weekend mornings draw a crowd that snakes out the door, and frankly, most of those people look like they've done this before and would do it again without complaint. There's a warmth to this place that has nothing to do with decor and everything to do with food that tastes like someone's grandmother was furious and talented. Show up on a weekday before 10 a.m. or resign yourself to standing on Notre-Dame with your hands in your pockets for a solid forty minutes.

Traditional Jewish deli serving breakfast & sandwiches in a bright, stylish space.
