White tablecloths, proper glassware, the hum of a dining room that knows exactly what it is — a French bistro on Laurier Ouest that doesn't need to try hard because the fundamentals are airtight. Steak frites, duck confit, a wine list that rewards curiosity. It's expensive, sure, but show up after 10pm and there's a late-night prix fixe that takes the sting out. The heated terrace in autumn is worth the reservation alone.
