Dark, tight, and a little theatrical — the kind of basement bar in Saint-Michel where you have to know which door to push. Speakeasy posturing, sure, but the cocktails actually back it up. Drinks are priced like they know you're staying for three. Country music on the speakers, which somehow works against the low ceilings and candlelight. Go late, go with one other person max, and don't expect to find a seat on weekends without patience.
