Dark doorway on Rue de Douai, no sign worth trusting — that's the point. Inside, rows of jewel-toned infused spirits line the shelves like some apothecary fever dream, and the lighting does exactly what it should: makes everyone look better than they deserve. Cocktails are inventive and strong, the crowd skews young and loud, and the room fills fast once the Pigalle night-shift kicks in. Book ahead if you're rolling more than four deep, and get there by ten or don't bother.
