About Hôtel Madame Rêve

Built into the bones of the old central post office on Rue du Louvre, and you feel that architecture the second you walk in — soaring ceilings, industrial iron, a sense of weight that most five-stars sand down into blandness. This one didn't. The rooms are sharp without being sterile, and the location is absurdly central, steps from Les Halles and the Louvre without sitting in the thick of the tourist crush. Not cheap, but the rooftop terrace alone earns its keep — go up at golden hour.
