Gilded ceilings, marble floors that echo under your shoes, the kind of lobby where you instinctively lower your voice. The place drips old-money Paris without apology, and yes, it costs what you think it costs. Don't skip afternoon pastries downstairs — Cédric Grolet's work is reason enough to walk through the door.
