Starck's fingerprints are everywhere — the oversized mirrors, the slightly irreverent art, the lobby that feels more like a gallery opening than a hotel check-in. Steps from the Arc de Triomphe but set back enough on Avenue Hoche that the tourist crush doesn't reach you. The spa is absurdly good, and there's an actual private cinema downstairs, which is the kind of excess that somehow works here. The price tag is brutal, but book for the in-house screening room experience alone.
